Macedonia is following all the current relations of power that exist in politics and economy, and especially in the energy sector. Our Government is actively involved in these global processes and especially what comes after the crissis. We are ready and know how to position ourselves, said Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov at the 13th Euroasian economic forum begining today in Istanbul.
Ivanov, as reported by the MIA journalist in Istanbul, pointed out that this is not just an economic summit, but a gathering of world leaders that focuses on issues of geopolitics, geoculture and the distribution of power.
- My presence at this Forum reconfirms the excellent relations we have with the Republic of Turkey. Also, the presence of members of the Government of Macedonia, the business and academic community confirms the usual comment that the economic relations lag behind the excellent political relations we havve with Turkey, said Ivanov. He expressed that the relations we have on the political side are being introduced in the economic field, with the goal of having the Turkish business community more present in Macedonia.
His presence at the Forum, said Ivanov, is an excellent opportunity to share experiences and skills practiced by the countries in the region, and that are not present in Macedonia. These regional experiences are welcome in Macedonia and in a way promote the economic cooperation between Macedonia and Turkey.
The participants at the Summit, in the morning session, focused on the unused potentials of the Euroasian countries.
