Decorations and Recognitions | |
Decorations and recognitions of the Republic of Macedonia are awarded to individuals, citizens of the Republic of Macedonia, to legal entities, state authorities, institutions, governmental and nongovernmental organizations, units, commands, staffs and branches of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Macedonia, to the police units within the Ministry of Internal Affairs and members of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Decorations and recognitions are awarded for activities that contribute to a peaceful and stable development of the Republic of Macedonia, for a contribution to its democratic development, for outstanding achievements in the work, for great personal courage in defense of the homeland. Decorations may be awarded to individuals posthumously. Decorations and recognitions can be awarded to foreign officials - diplomats, foreign natural and legal persons, international organizations and other associations. Orders of the Republic of Macedonia are: 1. Order of the Republic of Macedonia 2. Order "September 8" 3. Order "Ilinden-1903" 4. Order of Merit for Macedonia, and 5. Order of Military Merits Medals of the Republic of Macedonia are: 1. Medal of Merit for Macedonia, and 2.
