The President of the Republic of Macedonia, in compliance with the Constitution of the Republic of Macedonia and the Law on Submitting Complaints and Proposals, in his Cabinet, has established a Section where citizens can submit their requests for protection and realization of their rights and interests, as well as public interests determined by law and for launching other initiatives of public interest.  

In this direction the Project “People’s Offices” is realized, which envisages opening of regional offices of the President of the Republic of Macedonia in all major cities in the country.

The main objective is through these offices the President of the Republic of Macedonia to establish regular and predetermined dynamics of meetings with the citizens and be informed on a permanent basis with the problems they face for the purpose of putting an initiative for their settlement.

In the direct contacts, the citizens will have an opportunity to share with the President their views and opinions on the overall situation in the society, but also on the personal problems they encounter in their everyday life and on the manners of possible provision of protection or realization of certain rights or interests, and thus on the attitude of the governmental authorities towards the citizens when acting upon their requirements.

Also, the citizens will have an opportunity in these offices, depending on the obligations of the President, in direct talks to get more information on the activities of the President in exercising his constitutional and legal powers and provide their opinion.

Complaints and suggestions, except to the Cabinet of the President of the Republic of Macedonia, may be submitted to the people’s offices, which will then be considered by the Cabinet of the President.
