The Mission of the Council for Foreign Relations of the President of the Republic of Macedonia is to review issues related to the Presidential competences, especially in the field of foreign affairs, assessment of current policies, strategic plans development and proposals and initiatives aiming to enhance the international political, economic and cultural diplomacy of the Republic of Macedonia.

The Council is an informal advisory body of the President of the Republic of Macedonia, composed of domestic and foreign experts in international law, international political relations and diplomacy.

The Council shall meet twice a year to discuss various topics within its capacity, for which it will adopt conclusions. Depending on the topics, acting and former presidents, prime ministers, minister of foreign affairs, as well as former and acting heads of international organizations shall be invited to join the meeting of the Council.
