Pursuant to Article 84 line 6, Article 86 paragraph 1 and 2 and the Amendment XIII of the Constitution of the Republic of Macedonia, a decision on appointing president and members of the Security Council of the Republic of Macedonia was enacted.

President of the Security Council of the Republic of Macedonia is Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, President of the Republic of Macedonia.

Members of the Security Council of the Republic of Macedonia are:

1. Talat Djaferi, President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia
2. Zoran Zaev, President of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia
3. Radmila Sekerinska, Minister of Defense
4. Oliver Spasovski, Minister of Interior
5. Nikola Dimitrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs
6. Dr. Jovan Donev,
7. Furkan Chako,
8. Naser Sejdini, ret. colonel general
