Student Games in Ohrid

The President of the Republic of Macedonia d-r Gjorge Ivanov today in Ohrid opened the 13th Macedonian Student Games, organized by the University Parliament and the St. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. Around 800 students from Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, and Bulgaria take part in the games.
President Ivanov greeted the participants pointing out tha after the fall of the Schengen barrier young people now have an opportunity to communicate and exchange ideas, and also get acquainted with different educational systems. These games are a regional event and an opportunity for students, who are the future of their respective countries, to exchange ideas and discuss about ways to improve the societies they live in, said President Ivanov.
