The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, attended today the ceremony on the occasion of the inauguration of the President of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

President Ivanov congratulated the President of the Republic of Turkey for the victory and achieved success in the early presidential and parliamentary elections and wished him success in the execution of his presidential office. The Macedonian President thanked for all the previous support from the Republic of Turkey and expressed confidence that the strong friendship and cooperation between the two countries will continue in the future.

At the ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Ankara, President Erdogan addressed the audience after he was sworn in before the Turkish Parliament. The ceremony was attended by 22 heads of state and 28 prime ministers, speakers and ministers.
