During the visit to the State of Qatar, the wife of the President of the Republic of Macedonia, Ms. Maja Ivanova, had a meeting with the Director of the Shafallah Center for Children with Special Needs, Mr. Mohammed Bader Al-Sada, and with the wife of the current Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad Al Thani.

At the two meetings Ms. Ivanova expressed gratitude for the opportunity to present the projects and activities supported by her in the Republic of Macedonia.

At the meeting with Mr. Mohammed Bader Al-Sada, she referred to the established cooperation in the past period with the previous management of the Shafallah Center, expressed her gratitude for the support and expressed hope that the established cooperation will continue in the future through projects of mutual interest for both countries, exchange of experience, transfer of knowledge, expert and scientist visits. Ms. Ivanova asked for intensified cooperation in the field of research on the causes of the emergence and spread of autism in children at early stage, which was positively received by the interlocutors.

At the meeting with Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad Al Thani, Ms. Ivanova expressed gratitude for the support that the State of Qatar gives to the Republic of Macedonia, especially for humanitarian projects, highlighting the help for the Clinic for Anesthesiology, Reanimation and Intensive Care. At the same time, she extended cordial greetings to the mother of the Emir, Sheikha Mozah, and expressed confidence that the support and activities started with her will not continue in the future.
