Ms. Ivanova visits the biggest children’s health institution in Canada

The spouse of the President of the Republic of Macedonia, Ms. Maja Ivanova, in Toronto, visited the biggest medical institution for children in Canada, founded in 1875 and associated with the University of Toronto.

The hospital is called "Sick Kids" and is one of the most advanced in the field of research and has helped, with its clinical expertise, not only nationally, but also globally. The hospital where 8400 medical persons and 1500 volunteers are engaged treats more than 100,000 patients annually.

During the visit of the health institute "Sick Kids", Ms. Ivanova visited James, a child who is one of hundred of children suffering from a still undiagnosed illness and who is treated with a music therapy.

During the visit, Ms. Ivanova met with Jeff Mainland, Hospital Vice President, and exchanged views and discussed the cooperation possibilities between this prestigious world hospital and the Children's Hospital in Skopje, as part of Ms. Ivanova's activities.
