The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, received today at a farewell meeting the Ambassador of the State of Qatar in the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Hassan Bin Abdullah Zaid-Al-Mahmoud.

At the meeting, President Ivanov expressed satisfaction with the development of the bilateral relations, through the exchange of visits at the highest level and implementation of several initiatives. The two interlocutors exchanged views on the current developments in both countries, as well as on the possibilities for intensifying cooperation in all spheres of mutual interest, especially in the sphere of economy.

President Ivanov thanked for the overall engagement of Ambassador Hassan Bin Abdullah Zaid-Al Mahmud, as the first resident ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Macedonia, and for his contribution to the promotion of bilateral relations between the two countries and wished him success in his future work.
