Ceremony of presenting the credentials by the newly appointed ambassadors of the Kingdom of Denmark, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the United Republic of Tanzania

akreditivi_danska_7The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, received today the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassadors of the Kingdom of Denmark, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the United Republic of Tanzania to the Republic of Macedonia.

At the meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to the Republic of Macedonia, resident in Belgrade, H.E. Mr. Anders Christian Hougaard, President Ivanov expressed satisfaction with the successful development of the Macedonian-Danish relations and cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.

President Ivanov thanked for the support and assistance from the Kingdom of Denmark regarding the Macedonian Euro-Atlantic integration, expressing conviction that it will continue in the future. The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark, Hougaard expressed readiness to strengthen the excellent relations with the Macedonian people by promoting the cooperation in many areas.

akreditivi_luksemburg_7At the meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to the Republic of Macedonia, based in Luxembourg, H.E. Mr. Christian Beaver, the two interlocutors discussed the possibilities for promoting economic cooperation and trade between the two countries, as well as for boosting the overall bilateral relations and cooperation.

President Ivanov expressed confidence that the European and Euro-Atlantic integration determination will also present a strong bridge connecting Macedonia and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in the future. In this regard, the Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Mr. Beaver, stressed that his country strongly supports the aspirations of our country to membership in the Euro-Atlantic community.

akreditivi_tanzanija_7At the meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania with residence in Rome, H.E. Mr. George Kahema Madafa, President Ivanov stressed that despite the geographical distance between the two countries, there are opportunities for development and improvement of the overall relations. The two interlocutors exchanged views on regional and global issues, as well as on finding the most acceptable forms for bilateral economic co-operation.

President Ivanov wished the newly appointed ambassadors success in carrying out their responsible diplomatic duty.
