President Ivanov meets with the President of the Bulgarian Parliament, Ms. Karayancheva

President Gjorge Ivanov and the President of the Bulgarian Assembly, Cveta Karayancheva, exchanged information on the process of implementation of the Treaty on Good Neighborhood on Thursday and welcomed the pace of cooperation and undertaken initiatives and activities by both countries.
The Macedonian President expressed hope that the two countries will continue to cooperate to promote common interests in the region and further enhance bilateral cooperation.
At the meetings, views were exchanged on the current developments in both countries and on the European and Euro-Atlantic perspectives of the Republic of Macedonia ahead of the meeting of the EU Council and the NATO Summit. President Ivanov welcomed the successful presidency of the Republic of Bulgaria with the EU Council, noting that the Republic of Macedonia highly appreciates Bulgaria's support for the integration of the Western Balkan countries into the EU, adding that the EU enlargement policy remains the most effective instrument for guaranteeing peace, stability and prosperity in the Western Balkans.
President Ivanov reaffirmed the determination of the Republic of Macedonia for the best possible relations and cooperation with all neighbors and thanked for the support from Bulgaria in this extremely important period for our country.
