Ucenici_OOU_Koco_RacinThe President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, received today the students from the primary school “Koco Racin” from Skopje, who recently saved human life by offering first aid.

The students told their rescue story of the unfortunate event, which, thanks to their training in first-aid classes, did not end with fatal consequences. The seventh graders Vedran Laurencic, Petar Todorovski and the eighth grader Mila Kocevska, driving on a bus noticed that one of the passengers sitting in their vicinity was facing serious health problems. The students immediately reacted and offered him first aid, so they managed to save his life.

President Ivanov praised the students for their humane and unselfish gesture and said that it is a positive example that should be followed by everyone. The reception in the Presidential cabinet at Villa Vodno was also attended by the eighth graders Sofia Stojmenova, Nena Gievska and Marija Gavrilovic, who are also part of the team of the primary school “Koco Racin” - participants in the first aid contests organized by the Red Cross.
