The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, received today the representatives of the Scout Association of Macedonia, on the occasion of the 12^th Macedonian Scout Jamboree, which will be held at the scout camp in Skrbatno, Ohrid.

The representatives of the Scout Association of Macedonia informed President Ivanov on the ongoing activities, in the wake of the 12^th Macedonian Scout Jamboree, as well as with the overall program, which will involve about 1000 scouts from Macedonia, Europe and the world.

President Ivanov expressed his support for the activities of the Scout Association of Macedonia, as well as for their significant contribution, offering the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and experiences within the informal education among young people, as well as the opportunity to acquire and build new friendships.

At the meeting, the representatives of the Association pointed out that the jamborees are organized for every fifth year and that this year marks the jubilee, 65 years of existence of the Scout Association of Macedonia. The 12^th Macedonian Scout Jamboree will be held in the period from 14 to 22 July, under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov.
