The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, received today Ms. Liliane Tanguy, Member of the National Assembly of the French Republic.

The meeting discussed the bilateral relations between the Republic of Macedonia and the French Republic, the current political situation, as well as the future French support to the Macedonian Euro-integration.

In this context, President Ivanov thanked for the continuous support of the French Republic to the Republic of Macedonia on the road to our full integration into the European and Euro-Atlantic structures and stressed that the Republic of Macedonia is firmly determined to further strengthen the friendly relations with the French Republic.

The Macedonian President welcomed the inter-parliamentary cooperation and expressed readiness to intensify the political dialogue at the highest level.
President Ivanov expressed satisfaction with the meeting with Ms. Liliane Tanguy, the first female MP in the French Parliament of Macedonian origin, wishing her success in her work.
