The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Albania, sent a congratulation note to the President of the Republic of Albania, Bamir Topi.
 

Distinguished Mr. President,

It is my special pleasure, on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Albania, on my personal behalf and on behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia, to extend my most sincere regards and wishes for further prosperity of your country and well-being of its citizens.

I am convinced that in the coming period, with joint efforts and increased dynamics, we will use all available opportunities for strengthening of relations and enrichment of overall cooperation. The traditional friendship between our two friendly countries and nations, the shared commitment for stability and prosperity of our region, oblige us to develop and promote the relations and better use the existing opportunities for more intensive cooperation.
