The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, on the occasion of the great Christian holiday Christmas sent a congratulation message to Archbishop Stephan of Ohrid and Macedonia and to all Christian believers

It gives me great pleasure and honor to congratulate you personally and all members of the Holy Synod, the venerable monasticism and clergy, as well as all Orthodox believers, the great Christian holiday, the Nativity of Christ – Christmas. May you spend the holiday in good health, happiness and joy.

Christmas is a holiday that every Christian celebrates with the family, rejoicing and celebrating life. May also this year Christmas be an inspiration for all of us, united and with open hearts and pure thought, to think of all those who need material and spiritual support and unreservedly offer them our help and support.

It is in the spirit of Christianity, in the eve of Christmas, that once again I wish the hearts of all believers be filled with peace and tranquillity, joy and understanding and may we all offer unconditional love and respect for our dearest.
