The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov met today with the leaders of the major religious communities in the Republic of Macedonia. The President used the opportunity to convey his wishes for success in 2011 to his guests and to all believers in the Republic of Macedonia.

At the meeting, numerous current social life issues were discussed. The representatives of the religious communities informed the President on their joint initiative for constitutional amendments.
The President stressed the need of honest civic dialogue on all issues in the society. Moreover, the interlocutors agreed that all stakeholders in the dialogue should take into account the dignity of different opinion holders.
