prostalna_indija_1The President of the Republic of Macedonia Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, received today in a farewell meeting the Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Republic of Macedonia, H.E. Mr. Divyabh Manchanda

The Macedonian President expressed appreciation for the current contribution and personal commitment of Ambassador Manchanda in promoting bilateral relations and intensifying cooperation between the two countries in all spheres of mutual interest.

The meeting expressed mutual satisfaction that the relations between the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of India develop in the spirit of friendship, mutual understanding and mutual respect.

"The political dialogue at governmental and parliamentary level has gained the desired intensity in the recent years as has the improvement of the legal framework, which is seen as a favorable precondition for further deepening of the bilateral cooperation in the sphere of economy, culture and education, but also of the multilateral cooperation. The Republic of Macedonia stands fully ready thereof," President Ivanov said.

The Ambassador of the Republic of India, Mr. Manchanda, expressed his gratitude for the hospitality during his term and expressed satisfaction with the performance of his diplomatic duties in the country.

Expressing appreciation for the current engagement and good cooperation, President Ivanov wished Ambassador Manchanda success in his future endeavors and hope that the constructive cooperation will continue with his successor, the next Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Republic of Macedonia.
