The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, received today in a farewell meeting the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, H.E. Cui Zhiwei.

At the meeting, President Ivanov expressed gratitude for the engagement of Ambassador Zhiwei in promoting the relations and cooperation between the Republic of Macedonia and the People's Republic of China and wished him success in his future career.

President Ivanov and Ambassador Zhiwei jointly concluded that the relations and cooperation between the two countries has reached the highest level since the establishment of diplomatic relations.

President Ivanov and Ambassador Zhiwei agreed that in future the two countries should focus on further advancement of the economic cooperation.
