Meeting with the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Macedonia in Japan, Mr. Masatake Matsuda

The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, met today with the Honorary Consul - General of the Republic of Macedonia in Japan, resident in Tokyo, Mr. Masatake Matsuda.
 
Congratulating him on the appointment to this highly esteemed function, President Ivanov wished him further success, good and fruitful cooperation, expressing hope that he will be able to provide his personal contribution to the further deepening of the established cooperation.

Assessing the relations between the Republic of Macedonia and Japan as extremely important, President Ivanov expressed his satisfaction with the upward trend in the bilateral cooperation, expecting the cooperation to be increased in the future, in the political field, as well as in the sphere of education, science, culture. At the same time, the Macedonian President particularly stressed the need to strengthen the economic cooperation between the two countries.
 
Expressing great gratitude for the reception, the Honorary Consul - General expressed conviction that he will work with special dedication to the promotion of relations with special focus on the areas of cooperation noted by President Ivanov.
