The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, on the occasion of the National Day of the Federal Republic of Germany, sent a message of congratulations to H.E. Mr. Joachim Gauck, Federal President of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Distinguished M r. President,

With great pleasure, on my personal behalf and on behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia, I congratulate you the National Day of the Federal Republic of Germany, October 3, and extend best wishes for prosperity and welfare of the friendly Germany and its citizens.

Distinguished President, relations and cooperation between the Republic of Macedonia and the Federal Republic of Germany are marked with constant progress on political, economic and cultural level, which really makes me proud of. My country considers the Federal Republic of Germany honest partner, principled supporter of our European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations, which is of great importance for us and is highly appreciated. I assure you, your Excellency, that the efforts to strengthen our sincere partnership with your country, remains permanent foreign policy commitment.
