The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, on the occasion of the Day of Bosniaks - September 28, sent a congratulation message to the members of the Bosniak community in the Republic of Macedonia.
Dear fellow citizens,
On my personal behalf and on behalf of all the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia, I would like to extend my most cordial congratulation on the occasion of September 28, the Day of Bosniaks, and wish you good health, success and prosperity.
Nurturing and promotion of different cultures and traditions, including the Bosniak culture, is a core priority of the Republic of Macedonia. The historical presence of the Bosniak community in the Republic of Macedonia has contributed to the physiognomy of the contemporary Macedonian multiethnic, inclusive democracy, enriching its spiritual and cultural structure.
Important is the social and cultural contribution Bosniaks are constantly giving in all spheres of life in the Republic of Macedonia, boosting the efforts for further democratic and economic development and Euro-Atlantic integration of our common homeland.
As a country, we remain committed to the goal to enable development and promotion of Bosniak culture and tradition, with a strong determination to their further promotion, fostering and upgrading. We are committed to the goal, all our citizens, Bosniaks and members of all other ethnic communities, to see Macedonia as a state in which they can achieve personal and collective progress and success. On this day, we can say that we are walking together, leading our future generations to the future of prosperity and peace.
Many happy returns to this great holiday!
Dr. Gjorge Ivanov
