On my behalf and on behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia, let me congratulate you and the members of the Holy Synod, the venerable monks and clergy, and all Orthodox believers, the Christian holiday of the Assumption of the Mother of God.

May you spend the holiday that celebrates the day of merry resettlement of the Mother of God in heaven in peace and harmony, surrounded by the beloved ones and filled with joy!

The holiday of the assumption of the Mother of God has exceptional importance for the understanding of the meaning and value of our lives. Therefore, constantly inspired by the overwhelming and unconditional love and maternal care of Virgin Mary, by her kindness, gentleness and patience, may we all live loving our loved ones to and building respect for our parents and understanding and love for our children.
