I am particularly honoured and pleased to extend my most cordial congratulations upon your election to the office of President of the Republic of India. I should also like to offer my most sincere wishes for the successful performance of your responsible duties, as well as for your good health and personal happiness.

I am strongly confident that in the forthcoming period we will further develop and enhance the friendship between our two countries and peoples. I believe that with our joint engagement we will contribute to the deepening and intensification of the relations and cooperation between the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of India, in all areas of mutual interest, both in the bilateral and in the multilateral setting. I should like to assure you of both mine and the readiness of the Republic of Macedonia to make efforts in this respect.
