The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, sent a letter of condolences to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, on the occasion of the victims in the flash floods in Krasnodar.

Distinguished Mr. President,
With deep sadness I received the news of the great tragedy - the flood in Krasnodar, which took precious lives. I sincerely regret the loss of lives in this natural disaster.

In these sad moments for you, for the citizens of the Russian Federation and for the families of the victims, on behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia and on my personal behalf, I would like to extend my deepest condolences. In these moments of grief, our thoughts are with you and with the families of victims.

Please, Mr. President, convey the assurances of sympathy to the friendly Russian people.
