The President of the Republic of Macedonia Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, sent a letter of condolences for the victims in the accident during the military exercise in Serbia:

Distinguished Mr. President,

With great sadness I received the news of the accident during the exercise “2012 Graduates” and I deeply regret the loss of young lives and injured seven cadets.

Allow me, on behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia and on my personal behalf, to extend my most sincere condolences. Please, convey the expressions of deepest condolence to the families of the victims. I would like to assure you that the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia and I personally regret sincerely this tragic event.
