The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, sent a congratulation message to the Polish President, Bronislaw Komorowski, on the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Poland:
It is my distinct honor and pleasure, on the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Poland, on my personal behalf and on behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia, to extend my cordial greetings and sincere wishes for further advancement of your country and prosperity of the friendly Polish people.
I avail myself of this solemn occasion to express my conviction that the relations and cooperation between our two countries will be marked by even stronger intensity in all spheres of mutual interest.
The Republic of Macedonia and its citizens highly appreciate the support of the Republic of Poland for our efforts to become fully integrated into the European and Euro-Atlantic structures. Considering the joint commitments and visions of a united, democratic and prosperous Europe, I am convinced that the support from the Republic of Poland will continue in the period ahead, particularly before and during the NATO Summit in Chicago, and the upcoming meetings of the European Council.
Mr. President, hoping that soon we will have the opportunity to meet again, I am conveying to you the assurances of my highest consideration.
Dr. Gjorge Ivanov
