The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, met today with representatives of the Bosniak ethnic community in the Republic of Macedonia, led by Mr. Avdija Pepikj, on the eve of tomorrow’s International Day of Bosniaks.

The meeting focused on the contribution of the Bosniak ethnic community in the Republic of Macedonia as an important segment in the physiognomy of the state, as a multiethnic society in which tolerance and dialogue as universal values have a deep tradition.

President Ivanov stressed that, as a country, we remain committed to the goal to enable development and promotion of Bosniak culture and tradition, as well as of all cultures and traditions in the Republic of Macedonia.
