The President of the Republic of Macedonia Dr. Gjorge Ivanov today attended a New Year reception organized for the children of deceased members of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia, as well as for the children of members of the Army serving in missions abroad.

The President of the Republic of Macedonia Dr. Gjorge Ivanov wished the children joy, success in school and happiness in the upcoming year.

After the New Year reception and the Santa Claus event in the Club of the Army, organized by the Ministry of Defence, approximately 180 children were given Christmas presents.

The reception was attended by the Deputy Defence Minister of the Republic of Macedonia Emil Dimitriev and Chief of Staff of the Macedonian Army Lieutenant General Miroslav Stojanovski.
