President Ivanov, along with his wife, Ms. Maja, attended this morning the holy liturgy in the St. Clement of Ohrid Cathedral in Skopje, on the occasion of the Christian holiday, Resurrection of Christ - Easter.

The liturgy was also attended by the President of the Assembly, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski, the President of the Government, Mr. Nikola Gruevski, accompanied by their wives, and the Chairman of the Commission for Relations with Religious Communities and Religious Groups, Ms. Valentina Bozhinovska.

"Let me congratulate all believers this holiday, all Orthodox Church, Catholic Church and the United Methodist Church believers. I wish joy, much happiness in life. May we all spend these holidays in family harmony, peace and unity! May we all be united throughout the year as we are all united during these holidays! Let us dedicate ourselves to our families, especially to our children, by sharing lots of love and joy. Christ is Risen!," President Ivanov said after the liturgy.

After the Holy Liturgy, President Ivanov, the Speaker of the Parliament, the Prime Minister, the President of the Commission, were welcomed by the Head of the Macedonian Orthodox Church - Ohrid Archbishopric, His Holiness, Stefan, who treated them with Easter eggs.
