Meeting with the President of the European Movement in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Predrag Prashtalo

The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, met today teh President of the European Movement in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Predrag Prashtalo.
President Ivanov welcomed the activities of the European Movement in Bosnia and Herzegovina and its role and commitment in improving the image and perceptions not only of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but of the entire region. "Integration processes urge for increased cooperation in all areas of interest to the citizens of the countries in this region, and are a strong tool in support of the reform processes in our societies", President Ivanov said. In this context, pointing out the importance of mutual support and regional cooperation in the field of European integration, President Ivanov stressed that the Republic of Macedonia, as before, stands ready to work closely with all aspirant countries in our region.
Prashtalo expressed his gratitude for the reception by the Macedonian President and briefed President Ivanov on the upcoming Congress of the International European Movement in Budva, which is expected to send a strong message from the region to the European Union of the necessity of a consistent continuation of the enlargement process.
The European Movement in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in October 2012, awarded President Ivanov with a "Order for Special Merits" for his contribution to the regional European partnership, for developing friendships, reconciliation and better understanding between the peoples in this part of Europe.
