The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, today attended a ceremony on the occasion of the feast of St. Georgi Kratovski, patron of the city of Kratovo. President Ivanov, accompanied by his wife, Ms. Maja Ivanova, visited the church “St. Georgi Kratovski” and attended the liturgy held by the Bishop of Leshok, Josif. The celebration continued at the town square “Pavel Satev” where Bishop Josif held the ritual of the holy bread and sanctified water for the believers. During the visit, President Ivanov met with the citizens of Kratovo and visited the Clock Tower, six hundred years old architectural masterpiece.
