Common commitment to foster good neighborliness - farewell meeting with the Serbian Ambassador, H.E. Tomislav Gjurin

The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, received, today, in a farewell meeting, the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Macedonia, H.E. Tomislav Gjurin.
The two interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the overall development of the Macedonian-Serbian relations. Joint conclusion was that they are at the highest level in the past twenty years, which speaks of the continuing political dialogue at all levels, enhanced contractual framework, increased trade exchange. At the meeting, expectation to promote political, economic and cultural relations in the coming period was also expressed.
President Ivanov expressed satisfaction that the two countries have a joint commitment to foster good neighborly relations, regional cooperation, and to join the EU. The Republic of Macedonia is ready to cooperate closely in this field. The Macedonian President thanked the Serbian ambassador for his dedication and contribution to the deepening of the bilateral cooperation.
Serbian Ambassador stressed the strong determination of the Republic of Serbia for further development of good neighborly relations, comprehensive and mutually beneficial cooperation with the Republic of Macedonia. Ambassador Gjurin expressed confidence that in time of great temptations for the entire region of Southeast Europe, relations between the two countries will continue to develop in the interests of the two peoples.
