Today, in the school “Blaze Koneski” in Veles hundreds of children gathered together from elementary schools and kindergartens of three neighboring municipalities, marking the event titled “Healthy Food for Faultless Childhood”, within the campaign which under the auspices of Ms. Maja Ivanova is implemented throughout the country.

Supported by their parents and teachers, young citizens of Veles prepared rich counters alongside the school corridors, abounding with fresh vegetables and fruits, creative food designs, freshly squeezed juices and healthy snacks.

Expressing unhidden pleasure with the massiveness of the action and the commitment to the youngest, Ms. Ivanova, once again reminded how important is the healthy diet for proper development of children and healthy offspring, being the future of our country.

Pupils from the schools in Veles, for this occasion, prepared music performances and recitations, thematically related to the importance of healthy diet, referring also to the abundance of fresh products available at the Macedonian market. With equal enthusiasm, peers joined the children with special educational needs from the school “Maca Ovcharova”.

The caravan “Healthy Food for Faultless Childhood” will travel through Macedonia, organized by the Citizens’ Association “OHO”, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, and hosting municipalities.
