The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, received today at a farewell meeting the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Macedonia, H.E. Mr. Saied Sadeqh Mohammadi.

At the meeting, they exchanged views on the current situation in both countries, as well as on the bilateral cooperation. In this regard, the two interlocutors agreed on the need to strengthen the political dialogue and exchange of visits at all levels which is to contribute to the intensification of the economic cooperation and trade exchange between the Republic of Macedonia and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Ambassador Mohammadi expressed satisfaction with the performance of his diplomatic duties in the Republic of Macedonia and expressed conviction that his country will continue with its efforts to improve the relations with the Republic of Macedonia.

President Ivanov expressed his appreciation for the overall engagement of Ambassador Mohammadi and wished him success in her future career.
