The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, on the occasion of September 28, the International Day of Bosniaks, sent a congratulation message to the members of the Bosniak community in the Republic of Macedonia.

Respected fellow citizens,

Congratulating the International Day to the members of the Bosniak community in the country, I wish you a festive mood, happiness and success in the joint efforts for building the future for us and for our children.

The International Day of Bosniaks in the country is a sign of affirmation of the language, identity, culture and cultural characteristics of the rich Bosniak tradition. Respecting the ethnic and religious diversity, fostering and upgrading the relations, we are building a modern state that protects the interests of its citizens. Hence, I believe that joint is the responsibility for building loyalty to the Republic of Macedonia.

On this occasion, I would like to stress the extraordinary contribution of the members of the Bosniak community in the economic, cultural and social life in the country.

Respecting and promoting the deeds of our ancestors, we walk to the common development and progress. These values are the key to success. Togetherness and unity, life without divisions make us unified and unique. Therefore, we should be aware that only together we can achieve our mission for a happier, richer and prosperous Macedonia.

Respecting the culture and customs of others means respect for yourself and your country.
