The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, on the occasion of September 28, the International Day of Bosniaks, sent a congratulation message to the members of the Bosniak community in the Republic of Macedonia.

Respected fellow citizens,

On my personal behalf and on behalf of all the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia, I extend cordial congratulations on the occasion of this holiday, wishing you further successful promotion and development of the Bosniak culture in our country.

The specificities and the rich Bosniak tradition preserved until today have great importance in fostering the mutual relations which are valuable heritage for the future generations as well. The respect for the cultures and the diversity allows for better mutual understanding and development of the overall social relations.

On this occasion, I would like to stress my personal support in promoting the cultural values and nurturing the language of the members of the Bosniak community, which will undoubtedly provide outstanding contribution in the social life and in the cultural diversity in our country.
