The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, on the occasion of the National Day of the Slovak Republic, sent a congratulation note to Mr. Andrej Kiska, President of the Slovak Republic.

Your Excellency,

On the occasion of the National Day of the Slovak Republic, on behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia and on my personal behalf, I extend cordial regards and wishes for further prosperity of your friendly country and your people.

Let me take this opportunity to welcome the overall development of relations and cooperation between our two friendly countries and, also, to express interest and readiness for further improvement and intensification, both at bilateral and multilateral level. I would also like to express my gratitude for the consistent support from the Slovak Republic for the implementation of our strategic goals for Euro-Atlantic integration.
