The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, sent a congratulation message to the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kosovo.

Distinguished Mrs. President,

It is my special pleasure, on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kosovo, on my personal behalf and on behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia, to extend cordial greetings and sincere wishes for prosperity of your country and welfare of its citizens.

I avail myself of this solemn occasion to express my satisfaction with the high level of friendly relations and cooperation between our countries. I am convinced that the cooperation between our two countries will not only continue, but in the coming period will be intensified in all areas of mutual interest. Sharing identical vision for stability and prosperity of our region, not only bilaterally, I expect intensification of cooperation regionally, in terms of the Euro-Atlantic integrations. I hereby want to stress our full readiness.
