The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, received a letter of congratulations from the Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, H.E. Nguyen Thi Doan, on the occasion of her official visit to the Republic of Macedonia.

I and the delegation of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam left the beautiful capital of Skopje, completed successfully the official visit to the Republic of Macedonia with warm sentiments and unforgettable memories for the country and the people of Macedonia. I wish to express sincere thanks to Your Excellency Mr. President, Macedonian leaders and the people for the hospitality, warm sentiments and thoughtful arrangements accorded to us.

I believe that the optimistic results of my visit, especially the signing of Agreement on Economic Cooperation and Agreement on Visa Exemption for holders of diplomatic or service/official passports will help further strengthen and enhance the traditional friendship and cooperation between our two countries.

I came back to Vietnam with warm sentiments and unforgettable memories for the beautiful country and the hospitable people of Macedonia and bright prospect of the bilateral relations between the two countries.
