The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, sent a congratulation message to the Albanian President, Mr. Bujar Nishani, on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Albania.

Distinguished Mr. President,

It gives me great honor and pleasure, on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Albania, on behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia and on my personal behalf, to extend cordial compliments and sincere wishes for further prosperity and welfare of the friendly Republic of Albania and its citizens.
I avail myself of this solemn occasion to express my satisfaction with the friendly and neighborly relations nurtured by our two countries. The constant positive trend in the bilateral cooperation and the mutual commitment to the regional cooperation are an important factor in the achievement of the strategic objectives of our two countries and in the strengthening of the dialogue and stability in the region.
I am deeply convinced that in the future, together, we will continue to work on fostering and deepening our cooperation in all areas of mutual interest. In this regard, I express my full readiness.
