The President of the Republic Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, sent a congratulation message to H.E. Mr. Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, on the occasion of the Russian Federation holiday - the Victory Day.

Distinguished Mr. President,

It is a great honor and pleasure, on the occasion of the celebration of the Russian Federation holiday, the Victory Day, on behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia and on my personal behalf, to extend cordial regards and sincere wishes for prosperity of your country and welfare of the friendly Russian people.

In this solemn occasion, I would like to express my satisfaction with the current successful development of the bilateral relations between the Republic of Macedonia and the Russian Federation. I am confident that our cooperation in the future will further grow in the spirit of established friendship and mutual understanding.

I believe that in the coming period there will be even more successful and more productive cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, particularly in the economic and energy sectors, culture and tourism. I am convinced that with our personal involvement we will contribute to that end.
