Expression of condolences to Dmitry Medvedev, President of the Russian Federation

The President of the Republic of Macedonia Dr. Gjorge Ivanov sent a letter with expressions of condolences to the President of the Russian Federation Mr. Dmitry Medvedev, on the occasion of the terrorist attacks that happened in two separate explosions in metro stations in Moscow.

In the letter, President Ivanov, on behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia and on his personal behalf, expressed deep condolences to President Medvedev, the Russian Federation and the friendly Russian people and condemned strongly these criminal and cowardly attacks directed towards innocent people.
- Terrorism and its threats do not recognize borders and therefore I consider that joint and global efforts must be undertaken to combat them effectively . Our obligation is to ensure and guarantee our citizens more secure present and future. Only with coordinated, joint and collective efforts and commitment we can achieve this goal, is written in the letter from President Ivanov to President Medvedev.
