President of Republic of Macedonia Dr. Gjorge Ivanov today at 11:00 o’clock together with his family has voted for the Parliamentary Elections at the pooling station 2859 in Skopje, located at the premises of the secondary school “Josip Broz Tito”.

On the day of the elections the President once again pledged to the citizens to contribute to conduction of fair and peaceful elections in accordance with the highest democratic standards.

“The elections day is always the day when we celebrate democracy since on that day the citizens through their vote decide who will represent them in the Assembly of Republic of Macedonia during the next four years. Their vote decides who will deliver the decisions which are crucial for the country and are to contribute to realization of our strategic goals. Therefore, we all aim for the voting day to pass in the best possible manner, in accordance with the country’s 20 years of democratic tradition, a country which meets all democratic standards and stands side by side with all other democracies throughout the world. We wish these elections to be conducted in a way appropriate for an EU candidate-country,” said President Ivanov.
