President of Republic of Macedonia Dr. Gjorge Ivanov tomorrow – 2 June 2011, upon invitation of the President of the Italian Republic, H.E. Giorgio Napolitano, will attend the celebration ceremony on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Italy’s unification.

“Your presence in Rome represents another confirmation of our deep friendly relations which unite our countries and our peoples,” states the invitation from President Napolitano to President Ivanov.

On the celebration of the 150th anniversary of Italy’s unification the presence of a great number of high-level state representatives from Europe and throughout the world is being announced, as well as representatives of international organization as the United Nations and the European Union. President Ivanov will attend the ceremonial military parade in Rome, as well as the official dinner organized by President Napolitano.
