The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, along with his wife Ms. Maja Ivanova, received today the participants of the 46^th edition of the Festival of Children’s Songs “Golden Nightingale”, held under his patronage.
 

President Ivanov congratulated for the successful realization of the festival, held for the forty-sixth time, wishing many new children’s hits next year, which will be a landmark for the future generations.
 

The Golden Nightingales, through songs, thanked for the reception and for the continued support of the Macedonian President. The Director of the Festival, Boban Josifovski, expressed satisfaction that the “Golden Nightingale”, from year to year, is implemented more successfully.
 

This year’s “Golden Nightingale” featured 15 new songs. Like last year, this year too, the festival was attended by guests from the neighboring countries who performed their songs in Macedonian.
 

The festival “Golden Nightingale” is organized by the Council for Care and Education of Children of the City of Skopje and is being held since 1970.
