On the margins of the Climate Summit COP21 held in Paris, the President of t he President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov had a meeting with US President Barack Obama.

At the meeting, both presidents discussed the integration of the Republic of Macedonia in NATO.

President Ivanov stated that Macedonia is still in a status quo, without any changes in terms of NATO integration, adding that Macedonia should immediately be admitted as a fully fledged member in NATO.
