The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, met today with Mr. Mikhail Shvydkoi Eftimovich, Special Envoy for International Cultural Cooperation of the President of the Russian Federation.

The meeting expressed satisfaction with the high level of cooperation that reflects the spiritual, cultural and linguistic connectivity between the two countries. The interlocutors stressed their willingness to sign a program of cooperation in the field of culture, education, science and sports for the period 2016-2019.

Part of the cooperation is the promotion of the "Orthodox Encyclopedia" - the largest encyclopedic edition on the Orthodox Christianity, published by the Russian Orthodox Church.
