President Ivanov, within his participation at the Global Security Forum "GLOBSEC 2015", met today with Mr. George Friedman, Founder and President of one of the world's renowned research and analytical centers, Stratfor.

At the meeting, at the interest of the interlocutor, President Ivanov briefed on the strategic goals of the Republic of Macedonia, the current security situation in Macedonia, the relations with its neighbors and the political and security situation in the SEE region. They exchanged views and information regarding the geopolitical situation and turmoils related to the Balkans.
Mr. Friedman accepted the invitation of President Ivanov to visit the Republic of Macedonia to closely get acquainted with the situation, and his participation at the School for Young Leaders is agreed, which takes place every year in Ohrid under the auspices of the President of the Republic Macedonia.
